Agrico UK Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Agrico Holland, a Dutch farmers cooperative of some 800 members producing in excess of 380,000 tonnes of seed potatoes per year. Agrico Holland is also a global company, with offices in Poland, Canada, Italy and France, and extensive agency networks.

As Europe’s leading potato breeder, Agrico set up agency agreements in the mid seventies to represent its extensive programme in the UK market.

Agrico products proved to be very popular and as a result Agrico UK Ltd was established in 1980 to facilitate the increasing import of Dutch seed potatoes.

Continuing success in the UK market and recognition of market requirements led to a natural commitment to UK seed production in the nineties.

Agrico UK’s policy of providing the finest agronomy led products and services to both growers and packers increased the demand for additional Agrico capacity.

Agrico UK Ltd is now in a position to provide the UK and Export markets with the highest quality seed potatoes of its own and other varieties, which have been produced under strict protocols both in the field and through to storage and handling.
