Prince is a white fleshed processing variety with an excellent yield and suitable for the French fries industries.
The tubers are oval long with a high dry matter content and long dormancy.

Phosphate: standard advice.
Potassium: standard advice +25% to reduce bruising and harvest damage.
Plant spacing
35/45mm: 26cm (42,500 plants/Ha).
45/55mm: 30cm (37,000 plants/Ha).
Spacing figures for 90cm row width.
Herbicide sensitivity
Metribuzin (Sencorex) can be used.
Fungicides
Maintain a preventative blight spraying schedule until all haulm is dead.
Storage
Long dormancy. Frying quality is good after long term storage.
